Paul has always been
a fan of the rodeo. This pen and ink drawing represents
one of the more fascinating rodeo events called steer
wrestling, also known as bulldogging. This is a rodeo
event where horse and rider chase a steer. The rider
drops from the horse to the steer, then wrestles the
steer to the ground by twisting his horns. The average
weight of the steers used for this event is 450-650 lbs.
and the average weight of the wrestler is between 200
and 275 lbs.
